It’s about the people
I love talking to strangers and understanding what makes humans who they are. I’m not afraid to enter new environments and make something beautiful out of the unknown. I also really have come to love and connect with makers and children. I have children of my own and watching them grow and change is fascinating! As a creative, I’m interested in the process and spaces that other makers and artists inhabit.
Creative expertise
I began my career in Landscape Architecture, and then went on to receive my MFA in Graphic Design. My creative journey led me to teaching at Boston University and Suffolk, working on the brand design team at Converse and dabbling in User Experience Design making mobile apps. Throughout all of these endeavors, I was always taking photographs.
The pace of it
My favorite thing about portrait photography is the pace. I love that we can work fast and make something totally new within minutes. I enjoy the process of getting to know each and every one of my clients and the creative improvisation of each session.
