The Custom Session

$750+

Customizable, unique experiences for newborn, maternity and family clients looking for artsy and timeless images of the people they love.

What’s included

1–2 hours
As much time as we need to take it slow and get to know each other. Plan on 2 hours for a newborn session.
Custom location & date
We’ll work together to pick a meaningful indoor or outdoor location for your session.
An online gallery of hand-edited images
I edit every single image by hand, removing distractions and smoothing unexpected bruises or accidental chocolate smudges on a sweater.
$100 fine art print credit
Your images deserve to be in your hands.
Highlight reel
A 20–30 second reel of my favourite still images from our session, integrating video and maybe GIFs too.
A curated print shop
Albums, calendars, gallery frames and cards, priced competitively with MPIX and Artifact Uprising.

The Capsule Session

My version of a mini session (but a little bit longer), offered on preset dates and times in locations I choose.

Clients are scheduled back-to-back and sign up for predetermined time slots.

A download credit for 5 of your favourite images.

Printed with my professional print lab and in your hands after the session.

You have questions and I have answers

  • What if my kids are wild?

    Good. Wild is honest, and honest is what we’re here for. I photograph a lot of families with small children and I have two of my own — I don’t need anyone to sit still and smile at the camera.

  • What kind of location should I choose?

    Somewhere that means something to you. Your home, a beach you walk every weekend, the woods behind your house. A meaningful place makes better photographs than a pretty one.

  • What if my house isn’t ‘nice’ enough?

    It is. In-home sessions are about your family in the place where you actually live, not a staged interior. I’ll work with the light you have and I promise not to judge the laundry.

  • What is the difference between a Custom Session and a Capsule Session?

    A Custom Session is 1–2 hours at a location and date we choose together, with a fully hand-edited gallery, a print credit and a highlight reel — from $750. A Capsule Session is 30 minutes on a preset date at a location I choose, with 5 digital downloads and 5 prints — $450.

  • How old should my baby be for a newborn session?

    Whenever works for you. Classic sleepy newborn photographs happen in the first two weeks, but I love photographing babies at every age — and a session at six weeks with a family that has slept is often the better photograph.
